Standing In Silence~ I nicker a low greeting to Coraline

The sound of hooves hitting the hard
ground brought Coraline to attention.
She looked up to see a horse galloping
across the land, right towards her. He
seemed to see her for the first time and
stopped. Then he took another slow
step forward. Coraline got up to meet
him.

Standing In Silence~ I cantered through the valley, my proud head held high, my mane and tail blowing out behind me. My pure white coat stood out shockingly white in the night, and my feet beet a soft rythm on the ground as I cantered. The wind blew my mane and tail around me, and my mist swelled as happiness radiated from me. I neighed happily into the night, glad to be able to run. I entered the meadow and slid quietly to a stop when I saw the unicorn. My mist seemed to shrink in size and entertwined around my legs as I studied the mare closely and took a cautious step forward.

Coraline was a ravishing beauty, most
said. She had a lovely shade of pink fur,
and silky pink mane and tail. She was
tall, and pranced. But the most amazing
thing was her eyes. Coraline had bright
blue eyes and long lashes.

Coraline appeared to be doing nothing,
and it was hard to se her in the night. She
wasn't moving. But she was sitting by a tree,
thinking.
